Energy Valley Solar Day (11 July)
The Energy Valley Solar Day is especially for pupils of primary and secondary school. In the Mini Solar Boat Race the scholars are battling against each other with their own made mini solar boat. An expert jury will judge the solar boats from 14.00 o’clock and are appointing the winning boats which will battle against each other in the final. The pupils also have the opportunity to get to know the teams of the ‘big’ solar boat race and they are able to visit an inspiring college of Wubbo Ockels. During this day the participants have the possibility to work on their boat and to determine the strategy for the last racing days.
